Meeting Her Part 2

A continuation of Meeting Her Part 1! This is my stab at fan fiction!

I sit in class dreading this test. I’ve been so distracted lately. I’m just not myself. Mr. Wells walks in with a huge smile on his face! He looks at me and then the rest of the class.

“Well, it’s time for some news! There’s no test today!”

My classmates cheered as I breathed a sigh of relief. What’s going on, I thought.

“I have a special guest for today and she kindly agreed to be here today”, Mr. Wells continued.

The class looked puzzled just as I realized that I didn’t have to take a test.

“Everyone put your hands together for Wonder Woman!” said Mr. Wells with excitement!

Oh shit. Is he for real? I thought.

She walks in with her cape and usual gear. Her hair in waves and red nails and pink lipstick.

“Please call me Diana,” she said to Mr. Wells.

“Oh sorry, Diana. I tend to be formal.”

“It’s alright, Mr. Wells. I understand this is a school and things are regarded as formal.” said Diana.

The class is in shock! She’s here in the flesh!

“Now I said there’s no test today, but the test will be rescheduled for next week so that gives you all extra time to study and I expect excellent results,” said Mr. Wells.

My classmates booed him.

“Please be respectful to your teacher. He wants you to succeed and nothing more,” said Diana.

My classmates nod and wait for Mr. Wells to speak again.

He clears his throat as he continues, “I have Wonder-  Diana here to talk to you all about the benefits of learning history!”

Once again my classmates looked puzzled.

“Now don’t worry I promise it’ll be fun!” He finishes.

He nods at Diana to proceed to the podium. She does.

Two hours later…

The bell rings signaling the end of the double period. Just as when the class leaves, Mr. Wells calls out, “Remi, please stay behind. I would like to have a word with you.”

Mia looks at me and says, “Good luck. You’re probably in trouble…”

“Shut it,” I whispered.

Teresa looks at me as well and says good luck to which I replied with a nod.

I walk up to Mr. Wells’ desk awaiting my fate. I’m probably in trouble… I thought. Remi is a good student, she thought to herself.

“Ah, how’s my straight A student today?” said Mr. Wells with a smile.

“I hope I’m not in trouble,” I said nervously.

Mr. Wells looks at me as he continues to smile and says, “Remi, you’re not in trouble.”

I breathed a sigh of relief.

“I actually have an opportunity for you. I want you to work closely with Diana. Think of it as a thank you for being a good student.”

Is he serious? I must be in a dream.

“Remi?” asked Mr. Wells, breaking me from my reverie, “Are you ok?”

“I’m fine Mr. Wells. I’m just in shock.”

A whole day with Diana Prince? This is like a dream come true! I wonder what a day with Diana would be like?!
